MENOMINEE —The Marinette Menominee greater YMCA is planning a Heart Health presentation from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the YMCA, 1600 West Drive, Menominee.
The program is designed to build a healthier community through improved exercise habits. Josh Wisner, a first-year medical student at the Green Bay campus of the Medical College of Wisconsin, is working with the YMCA as part of his research project. The goal of his project is to help improve cardiovascular health in the Marinette and outlying region by promoting physical activity and improved dietary habits. His goal directly aligns with one of the areas of focus at the YMCA—Healthy Living, according to the YMCA.
