Diane Jankowski of Seal Beach, CA passed away on June 11,2022 at the age of 61. Diane lived a full life after her diagnosis in 2014 with Multiple Myeloma and then later Amyloidosis.
Born October 7,1960 in Toledo, Ohio to Stanley and Ruth Jankowski. She went to St. Clement’s Elementary School (graduated 1974), and then Central Catholic High School (graduated 1978). Her higher education included a BA then MBA in International Business and Finance from the University of Toledo. Diane was multifaceted in business planning, M & A, operations and financial analysis. Working for companies such as Dana, Robert Siegel & Associates, Geneva, Nissan, Penske, Beckman Coulter, and Autotrader. She liked teaching and was a Former Adjunct Professor at DeVry University. Her present job was working as a Financial Operations Manager since 2010 for the Keyboard Division of Yamaha Corp. of America. She formed friends with many from work and was highly regarded and respected.
Diane’s ” Live life one day at a time” positive attitude, sense of humor and strong religious belief were her outlook on life. She researched her disease and made lifestyle changes including healthy eating and exercising. She found a connection with members of the Multiple Myeloma Support group. Diane created a bucket list of places she wanted to visit. Her significant other William accompanied her on the trips to Lourdes, Fatima, Yosemite and Channel Islands.
Diane enjoyed cooking, music, and the outdoors. Diane’s adventurous interests included kayaking, hiking, and trips with friends and family. Diane valued her friendships and would make time to connect with friends and quoted “I am blessed to have such great people in my life!”. She talked fondly of her coworkers at Yamaha. Living many years in a Condo she helped many neighbors and developed friendships. Later when she was having health issues many expressed concern and asked what they could do to help.
Diane is preceded in death by her mother and father Ruth and Stanley Jankowski. She is survived by her sister, Sharon (Walter) Beckford, nephew Tyler and niece Ashley, brother Mike Jankowski (significant other Brenda Lang), Diane’s significant other William Gobron and his family who were like a 2nd family to Diane. Diane was godmother to two of William’s grandchildren (Sophia and Chelsea). She is also survived by one Aunt, many cousins and friends. Diane will be greatly missed by all.
A Mass Intention is scheduled for Friday July 1, 2022 at 5:30pm at St. Hedwig Catholic church 11482 Los Alamitos Blvd. Los Alamitos, CA 90720

Diane will be cremated in California and have a Funeral Mass at St. Clement Catholic Church 3030 Tremainsville Rd., Toledo, OH 43613 on Saturday July 23, 2022 at 10:00am with visitation starting at 9:00 am. The Funeral will be livestreamed on YouTube St. Clement Catholic Church Toledo, Ohio.
Her final resting place will be at the Chapel of Chimes Mausoleum in Toledo Memorial Park.
