Dear DePauw Students, Faculty and Staff,

We are excited to see everyone back on campus this month. In preparation for fall term, we have a few updates and reminders as we continue to navigate daily life amid the coronavirus pandemic.

  • Students, faculty and staff members are required to be up to date with COVID-19 vaccines and booster shots in accordance with the recommendations from the CDC.

  • For information on submitting vaccine and booster shot documentation:

    • Students,  click here.

    • Faculty and staff members should complete an attestation statement via ADP. Step-by-step instructions can be found on the HR site here.

  • Masking with KF94, KN95 or N95 masks is recommended throughout campus in all spaces, but not required, regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status.

*Proper use of KF94, KN95 or N95 masks is effective in reducing the risk of COVID-19 infection to the mask wearer. For more information, visit this American Medical Association site regarding masking.

  • Masking with KF94, KN95 or N95 masks is required for ANY individual experiencing symptoms that could be consistent with COVID-19, close contacts of positive cases and those who have tested positive in the last 10 days. *Close contacts should follow the guidance provided by the CDC in regard to masking.

  • Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to have at-home tests on hand should they experience symptoms or are notified that they are a close contact.

  • Event organizers are encouraged to provide virtual options if and when possible and appropriate.

We continue to encourage our campus community to be mindful of each other and to make personal health decisions informed by personal level of risk. For reference, visit the CDC page on how to protect yourself and others and DePauw’s webpage on current COVID-19 guidelines.

Students: If you have additional health questions, contact DePauw Health at 765-658-4555 or visit depauwhealth.org. If you test positive for COVID-19, email care@depauw.edu. For questions regarding housing, please contact housingreslife@depauw.edu or for questions related to privately owned Greek chapters, please contact your house corporation.

Sincerely,

COVID-19 Mitigation Team
